    Job description

    Job Summary
    This position involves providing occasional cleaning services and guest services as needed. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work both indoors and outdoors.
    Job Duties and Responsibilities
    • Maintain the function junction laundry/breakroom by ensuring all areas are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
    • Keep supply closets, housekeeping areas, and guest service/housekeeping vans stocked and organized.
    • Deliver guest service items as needed (e.g., gift baskets, supplies).
    • Perform housekeeping services as requested, including making beds, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, and restocking supplies.
    • Assist housekeeping team by emptying trash and dirty linen bags from housekeeping vans.
    • Assist laundry to ensure guest service items such as blankets, pillows, cribs, and air mattresses are clean and ready for use.
    • Address guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
    • Complete work within designated time frame to maintain operational efficiency.
    • Assist in maintaining safety equipment and emergency procedures for the safety of all guests and employees.
    • Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and professional manner.
    • Collaborate with other departments to enhance the guest experience.
    • Follow safety guidelines, including those outlined in Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and other safety doctrines.
    • Continuously seek ways to improve guest satisfaction.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp objects and maintain visual acuity for tasks such as using a keyboard, operating equipment, and reading technical information.
    • Must be able to bend, squat, climb, push and pull as required for job duties.
    • Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as part of the regular schedule.
    • Must maintain excellent attendance and conduct record.
    • Must have unrestricted and insurable Michigan driving record.
    • Non-smoking candidates preferred.
