Purpose of the role:

MHIRJs network of service centers, support offices and parts depots are positioned in important aviation hubs in the U.S. The CR&O Structures Technician performs thorough inspections of aircraft structures, identifying and documenting any signs of damage or wear while complying with environmental health, safety policies, and procedures.

Here are the daily responsibilities of a CR&O Structures Technician:

• Perform thorough inspection ofaircraftstructures,identifyingand documenting any signs of damage or wear.

• Comply withenvironmental health, safety policies, and procedures.

• Execute sheet metal repairs and modifications on various structural components

• Fabricate and/ormodifystructuralaircraftparts.

• Perform minor structural repairs on composite components either attached or detached.

• Perform mechanical, electricalremovalsand installations asrequired.

• Interpret and followaircraftmaintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical specifications.

• Perform complex structural repairs on/offaircraft.

• Utilize precision measuring tools and equipment to ensureaccuraterepairs and compliance with aviation regulations.

• Stay current on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to aviation structural maintenance.

Heres what is required to succeed:

• Minimum of5years ofstructural sheet metal repair and modification experience or sustained similar experience.

• Corporate jetaircraftor commercialaircraftexperience preferred.

• CRJ airframe experiencea plus.

• MRO experience a plus.

• Militaryaircraftmaintenance experience (Depot/Isochronal/Phase inspections) aplus.

• 10+ years of experience preferred.

• Completed Sheetmetal A/C Tech school or equivalent schooling is preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent isrequired.

• Knowledge ofaircraftstructures and materials.

• Able to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings.

• Possess (basic) set of tools.

• Ability to effectively communicateaircraftmaintenance actions both verbally and in writing.

• Comfortable working with technology / enteringaircraftmaintenance actions into a computer-based system.

Work Environment:

• Position requires full-time presence at our Bridgeport, WVfacility with on-site collaboration essential to role success
• 12-hour shifts on a 3/4/4/3 schedule, which includes days, nights, and weekends.
