Job Summary:
The Quality Engineer works under immediate supervision and uses established procedures to control andmonitorquality, ensuring products are consistent with industry standards, government regulations, and customer requirements
Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Suppliers, and Customers to ensure quality standards are met.
Support andparticipatein audits conducted by Defense, Aerospace, and Customer Auditors, ensuring compliance with industry and customer requirements.
Review and approve quality-related document changes, including Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Manufacturing Change Orders (MCOs), and deviations.
Knowledge:Understands fundamental concepts, practices and proceduresof assigned product or program; Knowledge ofcommonly usedconcepts, practices, and procedures within the field
Skills/Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skills;Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint;Full color acuity; Ability to managemultiple projects concurrentlytomeet company standards and deadlines
Eligibility Requirement: FAA sensitive position - may be subject to agovernmentsecurity investigation to verify eligibility for access to classified information

Preferred Qualifications:
Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limitedtoeye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wriststrapsand any other required PPE
May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces,dustor fumes
