Position Details:
Compensation: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM (Plus overtime)
Reports to: Merchandising Supervisor
•    Mileage reimbursement (vehicle must meet company standards)
•    Earn up to $300+ per month through the CarData vehicle reimbursement program.
•    Monday–Friday work schedule – no weekends
•    Occasional overnight travel required.
Position Overview:
As a non-managerial Merchandiser with Core-Mark, a division of Performance Food Group, you will play a key role in supporting our convenience store partners by implementing product displays, maintaining planograms, and ensuring our retail locations are properly merchandised for maximum sales and profitability. This position requires professionalism, diligence, and a strong commitment to customer service. This field-based role requires daily use of your own reliable personal vehicle.
Responsibilities
•    Drive daily to assigned customer locations using your vehicle.
•    Travel to convenience stores across Pennsylvania and Ohio, with occasional travel to West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and New York. Depending on how far away the destination is, you might need to stay overnight.
•    Meet with store owners and staff to assess needs and deliver high-quality merchandising support.
•    Place and organize merchandise in designated display areas, following detailed planograms to ensure all product placements align with Core-Mark standards.
•    Set up and reset store fixtures, shelves, and displays. Remove discontinued or outdated products as needed.
•    Provide stocking, pricing, shelf-facing, product rotation, and routine shelf and product cleaning.
•    Monitor product performance using sales velocity reports supplied by the company and suggest discontinuing or replacing specific items in each store to help boost sales and profits.
•    Monitor potential account problems and escalate concerns to Sales Representatives or Sales Managers.
•    Ensure store aisles remain clean and safe for shoppers and store staff.
•    Build and sustain strong customer relationships by delivering outstanding customer service and resolving concerns professionally.
•    Maintain and care for assigned equipment.
•    Accurately complete and submit timesheets and activity logs.
•    Perform additional merchandising or operational tasks assigned by leadership.
Physical Requirements:
•    Standing: 70% | Sitting: 30%
•    Frequent bending, stretching, kneeling, squatting, turning, twisting, and climbing.
•    Regular lifting of 5–25 lbs.; occasional lifting to 70 lbs.
Vehicle & Insurance Compliance Requirements:
Candidates must use their vehicle and are responsible for maintaining active automobile insurance coverage through a personal policy. Minimum coverage requirements include:
•  Bodily Injury (BI):
     - Per Person: $100,000
     - Per Incident: $300,000
•  Uninsured Motorist Bodily Injury (UM):
     - Per Person: $100,000
     - Per Incident: $300,000
•  Property Damage: $100,000
•  Deductibles:
     - Collision: $250 – $1,000
     - Comprehensive: $250 – $1,000
Insurance documentation must be submitted via the Cardata app or emailed to compliance@cardata.co when any of the following occur:
•    Initial set-up in the program
•    Change of vehicle or insurance provider
•    Renewal of the insurance policy
Note: Reimbursement cannot be issued without submission of the required documentation. Responding to reminders and documentation requests is crucial to maintaining eligibility.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
6+ months to one year of merchandising or customer service retail experience.
Proficiency in reading and executing retail planograms.
Reliable personal vehicle that meets Core-Mark/PFG guidelines.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Proof of current auto insurance coverage.
Effective communication and people skills.
Initiative-taking, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent customer service skills and diligence.
Ability to lift 5–25 lbs. frequently; occasional lifting of up to 70 lbs.
