Position Overview

The Events Operations Manager serves as the primary operational leader for our rapidly growing Events Division, which encompasses stadium venues, food trucks, festivals, and permanent residencies.

In this role, you will oversee day-to-day event logistics, maintain high operational and service standards, and build a strong pipeline of future leaders. Working directly alongside the CEO and COO, you will also play a key role in expanding our footprint with major regional concessionaires (e.g., Levy, Sodexo, OVG).

Key Responsibilities1. Event Operations amp; Logistics

  • Oversee the planning, inventory preparation, logistics, and execution for all festivals, stadium locations, food trucks, and catering events.
  • Ensure all setups are completed accurately, on schedule, and up to company standards.
  • Maintain on-call availability during active event operations to resolve staffing emergencies, call-offs, or operational unexpected issues quickly.
  • Partner closely with the Catering amp; Events Logistics Coordinator to ensure all events are fully staffed at least 14 days in advance.
  • Conduct post-event reviews to identify areas for operational improvement.

2. Leadership amp; Team Development

  • Build and mentor a strong team of Event Leads to serve as operational liaisons for our concessionaire partners.
  • Actively identify, train, and mentor high-potential team members to build an internal leadership pipeline.
  • Provide continuous coaching and conduct regular development discussions with team members.

3. Financial Management amp; Inventory Control

  • Monitor and manage event labor costs to keep operations within approved budgets.
  • Oversee food, beverage, and supply ordering to ensure zero shortages while minimizing food waste.
  • Partner with executive leadership to track divisional sales, manage margins, and achieve overall profit targets.

4. Strategic Planning amp; Growth

  • Prepare and present quarterly event schedules, financial projections, and performance reports to the COO and ownership team.
  • Partner directly with the CEO and COO to explore expansion opportunities, new partnerships, and business development with major venue operators.
  • Deliver exceptional service to ensure we remain our partners' most trusted and reliable food service vendor ("first in, last out").

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Success in this role is evaluated by:

  • 100% of events fully staffed 14 days prior to event dates.
  • On-time, accurate event setup and seamless operational execution.
  • Maintaining event labor and food costs within budgeted targets.
  • Developing 2–4 high-potential team members for future leadership roles annually.
  • Strong satisfaction ratings and positive feedback from venue partners, clients, and guests.
  • MUST be able to lift 40 lbs without help and must have your own reliable vehicle. Preferably SUV.

Compensation amp; Benefits

  • Base Salary: ~$60,000 / year (commensurate with experience)
  • Profit Sharing: 3% divisional profit-sharing plan tied to performance and growth goals.

  • Paid Time Off (PTO): 2 weeks (80 hours) accrued annually, accessible after 1 year of service. Up to 40 hours can roll over on your anniversary date.
