Job description

TITOL is seeking a highly motivated and relationship-driven Retail Sales & Partnerships Director to lead and grow retail opportunities for our diverse roster of artists and brands. This role is responsible for expanding our artists and brands presence across a wide spectrum of retail partners from luxury and specialty stores to mass-market channels. The ideal candidate has strong sales acumen, an existing network within the retail ecosystem, and the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder relationships with professionalism, confidentiality, and strategic insight.

You will serve as the key liaison between our artists, internal teams, and retail partners, ensuring alignment on goals, timelines, expectations, and deliverables. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role with significant growth potential within a fast-paced, creative, and entrepreneurial environment. Candidates with experience with apparel/fashion retail sales in the music industry is highly desired.

Working Environment:
In-office 5 days/week with occasional travel or on-site support required. May involve weekend or extended hours during peak seasons. Very fast-paced and detail-driven environment, with a focus on problem-solving, managing multiple parallel projects, and re-prioritizing tasks as necessary.
What You'll Do
  • Retail Sales & Partnership Development:
  • Identify, develop, and execute new retail opportunities for our artists and brands across high-end, specialty, and mass-market channels.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with buyers, category managers, distributors, and other external retail stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all retail partners, presenting artist concepts, product lines, and brand narratives with clarity and professionalism.
  • Negotiate partnership terms, timelines, and expectations in alignment with internal goals and artist brand integrity.
  • Sales & Strategy:
  • Drive revenue growth across the retail vertical by forecasting, tracking performance, and proposing strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends to identify white-space opportunities and emerging retail categories.
  • Create sales materials such as one-sheets, pitch decks, and product overviews to support retailer pitches and ongoing projects and collaborations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with Brand Management, Production, Finance, Creative, Legal, and other internal teams to ensure smooth execution of all retail initiatives.
  • Translate retailer needs into actionable plans for internal teams while ensuring alignment with artist vision and brand guidelines.
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and communication for multiple artist/retailer projects simultaneously.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Maintain clear documentation, project trackers, retail calendars, and partner communication logs with exceptional organizational discipline.
  • Handle confidential product, artist, and business information with discretion and integrity.
  • Independently manage priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while providing regular updates to leadership.
Who You Are
  • 3-6+ years of experience in retail partnerships, account management, sales, brand management, or related fields within music, entertainment, fashion, or lifestyle brands.
  • Established relationships within the retail industry (mass market as well as luxury & specialty).
  • Strong sales instincts with experience presenting to and negotiating with external partners.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to create compelling decks and sales materials (Keynote, Google Slides, PowerPoint, Canva, etc.).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

The Pay Range, which consists of salary and commission, for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
