Job description

Our Structural Group is growing, and we are seeking a Structural Building Engineer to join our team in Woodridge or Chicago, IL. We are hiring for this position with options for both full-time and part-time schedules, depending on the candidate’s availability and qualifications. 

Here’s what you’ll do: 

  • Perform Chicago Department of Buildings structural permit reviews
  • Provide occasional building inspection services
  • Provide smaller scale design of structural building repairs/renovations
  • Provide general support for the Structural Group

 We’re looking for: 

  • Minimum of 5 – 10 years of building design and/or permit review experience required
  • Illinois S.E. license required
  • Inclusion on current Chicago Structural Peer Reviewer list is a plus
  • ComEd (inspection/design services) experience is a plus
  • Ability to do occasional building inspection work is a plus
