    Job description

    Position Summary

    Senior Procurement Manager, IT – leads enterprise IT sourcing and software procurement, driving strategic sourcing, negotiation, and governance to achieve savings and standardization.

    Responsibilities
    • Bias for action, deadline- and results-driven
    • Proficiency in creating spreadsheets for complex software proposal comparisons, business cases with ROI analysis, and executive-level presentations
    • Ensure critical software provider contracts are sourced, negotiated, and implemented at the lowest total cost
    • Manage the strategic supplier software renewal cycle using a 12-month time fence for planning, quoting, negotiating, contract creation, and implementation
    • Partner with IT to establish a Software Steering Committee to vet new suppliers and standardize usage of preferred vendors
    • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure supplier performance standards are met
    • Incorporate KPIs and SLAs into supplier contracts
    • Analyze business requirements with stakeholders to develop solutions for IT needs
    • Create preferred vendors per software category
    • Develop short- and long-term commodity strategy
    • Mentor procurement team members in RFx creation, contract review, negotiations, and best practices
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience preferred
    • 5-10 years of experience in IT operations
    • Negotiation experience with large, complex renewals with software providers such as Microsoft, Salesforce, Workday
    • Ability to work cross-functionally to create and implement standard processes and policies
    • Flexibility to navigate current state procedures and propose, plan, and execute future state solutions
    • Project management experience desired
    • Ability to drive consensus
    • Strong working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
    • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
    • Knowledge of levers available to deliver best possible price for new software
    • Excellent project management skills and prioritization ability
    • Firm grasp of IT infrastructure and operations best practices
    Salaries & Compensation

    Target Compensation: $130,000 – $140,000 + Bonus. Compensation Range: $110,500 – $165,700 (USD).
