About Noble Steakhouse

Noble Steakhouse is an elevated fine-dining steakhouse concept preparing to open its flagship location in Denver, Colorado. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Assistant General Manager to join our opening leadership team and help establish the service, hospitality, culture, and operating standards that will define Noble Steakhouse.

This is an opportunity to be part of a new concept from the beginning. The Assistant General Manager will work directly alongside the General Manager and restaurant leadership throughout pre-opening, training, opening, and ongoing operations.

We are looking for a hands-on restaurant leader who thrives on the floor, enjoys developing teams, understands elevated hospitality, and wants to play an active role in creating an exceptional steakhouse experience.

As Noble Steakhouse grows, there will be significant opportunities for advancement and involvement in future Noble Steakhouse openings.

Position Overview

The Assistant General Manager will support the General Manager in leading the daily operations of Noble Steakhouse, with a strong emphasis on front-of-house execution, team leadership, training, guest experience, service standards, and operational consistency.

The AGM will be a highly visible leader within the restaurant and is expected to spend significant time actively managing the floor, interacting with guests, coaching employees, supporting managers, and ensuring that every service reflects Noble Steakhouse standards.

This position requires previous fine-dining and steakhouse experience and a leader who understands the level of detail, professionalism, product knowledge, and hospitality required in a premium steakhouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of Noble Steakhouse.

  • Play an active role in the pre-opening process, including recruiting, onboarding, training, systems implementation, service preparation, and opening execution.

  • Serve as a visible, hands-on leader on the restaurant floor during service.

  • Lead pre-shift meetings and ensure employees are prepared with appropriate knowledge of menus, specials, events, reservations, VIP guests, service expectations, and operational priorities.

  • Maintain and continuously reinforce Noble Steakhouse's standards for fine-dining service and hospitality.

  • Coach and develop front-of-house employees and managers through active, in-the-moment leadership.

  • Help recruit, onboard, train, develop, and retain a professional and hospitality-driven team.

  • Ensure employees maintain strong knowledge of food, wine, spirits, cocktails, ingredients, preparation methods, and service standards appropriate for a premium steakhouse.

  • Monitor the guest experience throughout service and proactively identify opportunities to enhance hospitality.

  • Personally engage with guests and assist with guest concerns, special requests, VIP experiences, and service recovery when necessary.

  • Ensure dining room readiness, cleanliness, organization, ambiance, table presentation, and overall restaurant appearance meet Noble Steakhouse standards.

  • Work closely with culinary leadership to maintain strong communication and coordination between the front and back of house.

  • Support the General Manager with scheduling, labor management, payroll controls, and staffing decisions.

  • Assist in managing restaurant labor and operating expenses in accordance with established budgets and financial expectations.

  • Support inventory management, purchasing controls, beverage operations, and loss prevention as assigned.

  • Help ensure proper execution of opening, closing, cash-handling, security, and other daily operating procedures.

  • Assist with employee performance management, coaching, documentation, recognition, and accountability.

  • Ensure company policies, operating procedures, and service standards are consistently followed.

  • Assist in maintaining compliance with applicable health, safety, liquor, employment, and operational requirements.

  • Support private dining, special events, VIP reservations, and high-profile guest experiences.

  • Communicate operational issues, staffing concerns, guest feedback, and opportunities for improvement to the General Manager.

  • Step into additional leadership responsibilities when the General Manager is unavailable.

  • Help establish systems, training standards, and operating procedures that can be replicated at future Noble Steakhouse locations.

  • Participate in future Noble Steakhouse openings, training, and operational development as opportunities arise.

  • Perform additional responsibilities necessary to support the successful operation of Noble Steakhouse.

Qualifications
  • Previous management experience in a fine-dining restaurant is required.

  • Previous steakhouse experience is required.

  • Previous experience as an Assistant General Manager, Restaurant Manager, Service Manager, General Manager, or comparable restaurant leadership position is strongly preferred.

  • New restaurant opening experience is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of elevated service standards and luxury hospitality.

  • Strong food, wine, spirits, and beverage knowledge appropriate for a premium steakhouse environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate restaurant teams during high-volume service.

  • Strong understanding of front-of-house operations, scheduling, labor management, training, and service execution.

  • Basic understanding of restaurant financial performance, including labor, cost controls, sales, and operating expenses.

  • Ability to coach employees effectively and hold teams accountable while maintaining a positive and professional culture.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to consistency.

  • Excellent communication, organization, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

  • Professional presence and the ability to interact confidently with guests, employees, leadership, and vendors.

  • Ability and willingness to be actively present on the restaurant floor for extended periods.

  • Ability and willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods as required by restaurant operations.

  • Willingness to participate in future Noble Steakhouse openings and travel as the concept expands.

What We Offer
  • Annual base salary of $80,000–$95,000, based on experience and qualifications.

  • Generous performance-based bonus program in addition to base salary.

  • Paid Time Off (PTO) in accordance with company policy.

  • Health benefits in accordance with plan eligibility and company policy.

  • 401(k) retirement plan in accordance with plan eligibility.

  • Complimentary lunch on scheduled workdays.

  • Competitive compensation with significant opportunity for professional and compensation growth.

  • The opportunity to join the opening leadership team of a new fine-dining steakhouse concept.

  • Hands-on involvement in establishing Noble Steakhouse's service culture, standards, and guest experience from the beginning.

  • Opportunities for advancement as Noble Steakhouse grows and opens additional locations.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being in the restaurant and leading from the floor. The right AGM is not someone who wants to spend the majority of their time in an office. This individual should enjoy working directly with employees, interacting with guests, solving problems in real time, coaching service, and helping create a restaurant team that takes pride in delivering an exceptional experience.

The successful candidate will understand that fine dining is about far more than completing the steps of service. It requires attention to detail, anticipation of guest needs, extensive product knowledge, consistency, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.

We want someone who is excited about joining Noble Steakhouse at the beginning and helping build something that can grow well beyond its first location.

Equal Employment Opportunity

Noble Steakhouse is an equal opportunity employer. Employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, creed, sex, pregnancy, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, military or veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.

How to Apply

Qualified candidates should submit a resume and relevant information regarding their fine-dining, steakhouse, restaurant leadership, and opening experience through this job posting.

Applications are anticipated to close September 30, 2026. Noble Steakhouse may extend the application deadline if its hiring timeline changes.
