    Build Resilient Water Systems as an Engineer II — Drive Projects That Matter

     

    Ready to advance your engineering career while helping shape the infrastructure communities depend on every day? Are you looking for an opportunity to apply your technical expertise across a diverse portfolio of water and wastewater projects?

    CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Engineer II to join our Water Team in Indianapolis, IN; Columbus, OH; or Evansville, IN. In this role, you will support the design and delivery of impactful water/wastewater projects while developing your expertise through collaboration, mentorship, and hands-on project experience.


    • Participate in the development of preliminary design concepts and perform comparative cost analyses for water/wastewater systems
    • Assist in creating computation methods, technical reports, and specifications under the guidance of senior engineers
    • Identify and correct technical discrepancies in analytical results, following established procedures
    • Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as firm and client standards
    • Join field assignments with senior staff to gain hands-on experience in assessment, planning, and rehabilitation of water/wastewater systems

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required
    • Minimum of 2 years of related engineering experience required
    • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred
    • Strong theoretical knowledge and willingness to learn within the engineering discipline
    • Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and engineering software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with data management and spreadsheet experience required
    • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
    • Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

    $78,000 - $83,000

    Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
