    Job description

    CDR ProSource is seeking a Maintenance Technician II Multi-Craft Technician to join our team in Kalamazoo, MI. The ideal candidate will have strong electro mechanical maintenance experience, with a focus on electrical troubleshooting, PLCs, and industrial manufacturing equipment. This position is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance to support equipment reliability, uptime, safety, and production goals.

    Pay Rate: $27.00–$30.00 Per Hour

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and corrugated/converting equipment.
    • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
    • Diagnose and repair electrical control systems, including PLC hardware/software and logic controllers.
    • Install, lubricate, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment according to specifications and procedures.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, diagrams, and equipment manuals.
    • Troubleshoot and repair components including valves, solenoids, motors, sensors, and other mechanical/electrical equipment.
    • Perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures in accordance with safety requirements.
    • Respond to mechanical and electrical maintenance issues throughout the facility.
    • Use testing equipment such as electrical meters, micrometers, calipers, and other diagnostic tools.
    • Operate maintenance and machine-shop tools, including drills, saws, grinders, and other hand and power tools.
    • Operate forklifts and other lifting equipment as required.
    • Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment status and completed work effectively.
    • Maintain compliance with all plant safety, environmental, and operational policies.
    • Work independently and collaboratively with maintenance and production teams.

    Qualifications
    • Minimum 4+ years of electro mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
    • Strong electrical troubleshooting experience is essential.
    • Hands-on experience with PLC hardware/software and logic controllers.
    • Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
    • Proficient in reading blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.
    • Strong knowledge of CMMS systems.
    • Familiarity with electrical and mechanical testing equipment.
    • Ability to operate forklifts and other lifting devices.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and email.
    • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
    • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work effectively with others.
    • Must be able to learn and operate various computer and maintenance software programs.
    • Must provide and maintain their own required hand tools.
    • Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, extended hours, and any available shift as required.
    • Ability to perform the physical requirements of an industrial maintenance position, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, climbing, and working around machinery.
