Job description

Job Title: Associate Operations Coordinator
Job Description
The Associate Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in managing daily transportation operations. This position involves executing shipment management tasks, maintaining effective communication with customers and carriers, and ensuring data accuracy within systems. The role demands a focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction while adhering to company policies and standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities
  • Execute daily transportation-related tasks with a focus on quality and efficiency, in accordance with company policies and SOPs.
  • Provide shipment information to customers and carriers.
  • Create and activate orders and shipments.
  • Build and assign loads within transportation management systems.
  • Schedule pickup and delivery appointments.
  • Track and trace shipments to ensure on-time execution.
  • Enter shipment events and complete invoicing functions accurately.
  • Monitor task boards and assigned email inboxes to respond promptly to customer and carrier requests.
  • Document shipment events using knowledge gained through SOPs and prior experience.
  • Follow defined escalation procedures when issues arise or additional support is required.
  • Follow through on customer and carrier requests to ensure satisfaction and resolution.
  • Validate and ensure the accuracy of load data in systems in accordance with company and customer standards.
  • Escalate questions, issues, or complex requests when appropriate.
Essential Skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Ability to work evenings and/or weekends (for select roles).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (preferred).
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Prior customer service experience in a call center or similar environment.
  • Demonstrated communication, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Prior experience working in a role requiring high attention to detail.
  • Commitment to and appreciation for a diverse and inclusive work environment.
Work Environment
The work environment is fast-paced and detail-oriented, requiring frequent interaction with customers, carriers, and internal teams. Employees are expected to adhere to defined processes, escalation procedures, and quality standards. The initial training schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:30 pm to 12 am, in-office. Post-training, the role offers flexible scheduling with options for remote work and office presence as needed. Open schedule times include shifts such as Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday from 11:30 pm to 8 am, with the opportunity to work in the office anytime along with scheduled office days.

This is a Contract position based out of Eden Prairie, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
