Elementary School Teacher (Grades K-5) - Full-Time, Part-Time & Substitute
Job Summary:
Carter G. Woodson School is seeking passionate and dedicated elementary school teachers for the 2025-2026 school year. We are looking for educators who are committed to fostering academic growth, character development, and student engagement in a supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement engaging lessons in English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies, aligned with NC state standards.
• Utilize differentiated instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including students with exceptional needs.
• Create a structured, positive classroom environment that promotes academic success and personal growth.
• Incorporate data-driven instruction to monitor and support student achievement.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to build strong school partnerships.
• Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• NC teaching license is highly recommended, but not required.
• Experience in elementary education and classroom management preferred.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Carter G. Woodson School.
