This position will be responsible for building and maintaining business relationships with customers within the scope of Living & Care category in the Northeast territory through prospecting, planning and effective communication. Carpenter Co. employees are committed to working hard to ensure production goals are met while maintaining operations excellence. As the Sales Representative, you will be expected to present and sell new products while representing Carpenter Co. with integrity and striving to maintain customer satisfaction.Your additional responsibilities as Sales Representative will include:
    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Carpenter’s products and capabilities to effectively support customer needs
    • Build and sustain strong, long-term customer relationships to drive retention and satisfaction
    • Manage existing accounts and identify new business opportunities through proactive planning and organization
    • Collaborate with plant personnel, R&D, and company leadership to develop and implement customer-focused solutions
    • Prepare and deliver regular reports to customers and internal stakeholders using Salesforce and other tools
    • Conduct monthly and annual territory analyses to support strategic planning and achievement of business objectives
    • Meet or exceed assigned key performance indicators (KPIs)
    • Travel up to 4 nights per month
    Skills/ Requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications or other related discipline
    • 2-4 years of proven sales experience
    • 2-4 years of business to business sales experience; manufacturing or other applicable industry experience a plus
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a competitive sales environment dealing with a variety of customers at all levels of an organization
    • Self-motivated, determined and driven to exceed expectations of assigned responsibilities
    • Bedding, furniture, or foam knowledge preferred
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
    • Ability to 4 nights per month
