Atlantic Testing Laboratories (ATL) is a full-service engineering support firm with nearly 60 years of experience and operates from 11 offices with 300+ employees throughout New York State. ATL is seeking qualified Administrative Assistant candidates for our Hamburg, New York office. This position offers the opportunity to work in a diverse marketplace while building a challenging and rewarding career.

Administrative Assistant Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business or related field, or 2+ years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in the construction and/or architecture/engineering field
  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct administrative support to division management and technical staff
  • Prepare proposals and invoices
  • Answer and direct telephone calls
  • Assist with scheduling and dispatching of field staff
  • Process timesheets and expense reports for divisional staff
  • Process purchase requisitions
  • Assist with onboarding of new hires
