    Our client, a renowned leader in biotechnology, is revolutionizing the use of living cells to create groundbreaking biologic medicines. As a guiding force in the biotech industry, they set the bar for innovation and advancement. They are looking for a reliable Senior Maintenance Technician to join their team in New Albany, OH.
    Schedule: 12-hour day shifts (6:00 AM-6:30 PM OR 6:00PM-6:30AM ), working 3-4 days per week (Training period for 2 months- M-F, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM)
    Job type: 1 year contract (possibility of hire or extension)

    Job Summary
    We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, operation, and repair of manufacturing equipment in a regulated production environment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical maintenance experience, knowledge of GMP practices, and experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). This role requires excellent troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to equipment reliability and compliance.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform maintenance, operation, and repair of manufacturing equipment.
    • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
    • Complete preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
    • Maintain equipment in compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.
    • Document maintenance activities and complete work orders accurately using a CMMS.
    • Support equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and modifications.
    • Coordinate repairs and equipment installations with contractors when necessary.
    • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to improve equipment performance.
    • Maintain equipment inspection readiness and ensure proper documentation.
    • Identify maintenance improvements and recommend process enhancements.
    • Participate in required safety and GMP training.

    Required Qualifications
    • Associate degree with 4 years of manufacturing maintenance experience or
    • High school diploma/GED with 6 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
    • Experience performing mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
    • Working knowledge of pumps, valves, motors, bearings, and lubrication systems.
    • Experience troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment.
    • Experience working in a GMP or other regulated manufacturing environment.
    • Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably Maximo.
    • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, engineering drawings, and SOPs.
    • Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience maintaining pharmaceutical or packaging equipment.
    • Knowledge of predictive maintenance programs and reliability practices.
    • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements.
