This innovative organization is at the forefront of protecting and accelerating online experiences for millions of users worldwide, making a tangible impact on the digital landscape. As a vital member of their team, you will play a direct role in shaping the company's external presence and fostering key relationships, contributing to their mission of making the internet a safer and more efficient place for all.
Are you a master of orchestration, thriving on the energy of high-profile events? We're seeking a passionate and highly organized professional to join our client's strategic events team for a 9-month contract. In this pivotal role, you won't just plan gatherings; you'll craft unforgettable experiences that engage customers, prospects, partners, and internal stakeholders, directly contributing to pipeline growth and reinforcing market leadership. If you're ready to dive into complex projects, manage every detail with precision, and see your efforts culminate in successful, impactful programs, then this is your opportunity to shine and leave a lasting mark on a global brand!
What You'll Do
  • Support the planning and execution of key strategic events, including major customer gatherings and other high-visibility programs.
  • Manage comprehensive event timelines, milestones, workback plans, and critical cross-functional dependencies.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with internal stakeholders across marketing, sales, product, creative, operations, and leadership teams.
  • Partner effectively with external vendors, venues, agencies, and production teams to deliver polished and professional event experiences.
  • Track all event expenditures meticulously to ensure adherence to budget and operational requirements.
  • Oversee attendee management, registration workflows, communications, and detailed run-of-show planning.
  • Build and maintain essential event briefs, provide regular status updates, and create insightful post-event recaps.
  • Troubleshoot issues quickly and proactively, keeping all stakeholders informed when plans evolve.
  • Help ensure every event flawlessly reflects the company's brand, standards, and strategic priorities.

Impact and Growth in This Role
In your first 90 days, you will quickly integrate into the strategic events calendar and operating rhythms, taking ownership of event workstreams with minimal supervision. You will keep stakeholders aligned through clear updates and effective issue escalation, contributing to the flawless execution of priority programs. Your efforts will help establish a reliable, repeatable event process that scales efficiently across all programs, making a significant impact on the team's operational excellence.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in event planning or management, field marketing, experiential marketing, or corporate events.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field, preferably in tech or B2B.
  • Experience supporting large-scale, high-visibility, or executive-level events.
  • Strong project management skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with external vendors, agencies, and production partners.
  • Comfortable with budgets, production schedules, and event operations.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in event platforms, project management tools, and CRM systems.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Experience supporting tech, B2B, or enterprise marketing events.
  • Familiarity with large user conferences, tradeshows, or customer summits.
  • Experience with registration platforms, attendee communications, and event operations tools.
  • Strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
  • Experience with virtual event production and webinar tools.
  • Familiarity with GDPR and data privacy regulations for event management.
