About the Role
Aquent Studios is seeking a Creative Director, Brand to lead a small, high-caliber creative team embedded with Qualcomm. This role owns the visual health and consistency of Qualcomm's foundational corporate brand alongside its portfolio of product brands - Snapdragon, Dragonwing, and Dragonfly. You'll be the steward of design systems, visual identity, typography, and photography direction across a complex, multi-brand architecture, while mentoring and managing a small team of designers.
What You'll Do
• Lead and manage a small team of brand and visual designers, setting direction and reviewing work to a consistently high creative bar
• Own and evolve design systems that scale across Qualcomm's foundational brand and its Snapdragon, Dragonwing, and Dragonfly sub-brands
• Serve as the guardian of visual identity, typography, color, iconography, layout systems, and key visual language
• Direct photography and key visual development, from creative briefs through final asset selection
• Partner closely with marketing, product marketing, and brand stakeholders to ensure creative work supports business and product goals
• Present creative direction, systems, and rationale to senior stakeholders and defend design decisions with clear reasoning
• Ensure brand consistency and appropriate differentiation across a multi-brand portfolio
What You Bring
• 8+ years of brand and creative experience, including experience leading or managing a creative team
• Deep, demonstrable expertise in design systems, building, documenting, and scaling them across multiple brand touchpoints
• Strong command of visual identity fundamentals: typography, grid systems, color theory, and key visual development
• Experience directing photography, whether through in-house shoots or agency/vendor partners
• A portfolio that shows brand systems thinking, not just individual campaign executions
• Proven ability to manage, mentor, and grow a small design team
• Comfort operating across a portfolio of related brands with distinct but connected identities
Who You Are
• Experience with technology, semiconductor, or consumer electronics brands
• Background working within or alongside enterprise/B2B brand architectures
• Experience building or maintaining brand guideline systems (e.g., Figma libraries, brand portals)

Compensation Range: $155,000- 160,000 DOE
