Job description

Apple is looking for Display Panel TFT Process and Integration Engineers to develop new processes and design new architectures used in award-winning Apple products. This is an excellent opportunity to work on the forefront of panel development with an exemplary company consistently bringing innovations in the industry. As part of Panel Systems, you will have responsibility to successfully develop new panel products through the technical direction of highly talented cross-functional engineering teams and supplier partners specialized in the development of panels.
Description
As a Panel TFT Process Engineer, you will look for new materials and develop tough process for advanced display panels from the concept to the productivity verification. As a Senior Panel Process Engineer, you will find out how to modify the TFT stack up and devices, and maintain the performance well in Thin film, Photo Lithography or Etch field to fulfill the process development of advanced display.","responsibilities":"Work closely with the Apple HQ Team in California and Apple industrial partners in Asia to develop the new flat panel devices that enable the best display performance of products
Achieve the best performance using an optimized manufacturing process for the future products
Optimize and improve existing TFT backplane processes for new Apple products
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with flat panel displays
Background with TFT device physics
Minimum Qualifications
BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
Experience in equipment technology and process integration for new product, i.e. Photo Lithography, Thin Film, Etch or Integration function for a-Si TFT, Metal Oxide TFT, LTPS TFT, or MOSFET
Experience in management these related fields, i.e.TFT process, TFT equipment, Silicon process, Fab operation and R&D activities
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
