Job description

Overview

Apogee has exciting opportunities for Senior Configuration/Data Managers supporting AFLCMC directorates. These senior-level positions provide expert configuration and data management support for complex acquisition programs. 

This is a full-time position located at Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio.

Responsibilities
  • Lead configuration management activities for major programs 
  • Provide expert guidance on complex CM/DM issues 
  • Chair or co-chair CCBs 
  • Lead FCA/PCA planning and execution 
  • Mentor junior CM/DM personnel 
  • Develop CM/DM plans and strategies 
  • Provide expert analysis of configuration impacts 
  • Lead resolution of complex configuration issues 
  • Develop and implement CM/DM processes 
  • Provide strategic guidance on data management 
  • Lead coordination with contractors on CM/DM matters 
  • Develop training materials for CM/DM processes 
  • Review and approve complex configuration changes 
Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level clearanceEducation:High School diploma or GED 

Years of Experience: 10 years of CM/DM experience, 5 years in DoD

  • Expert knowledge of configuration management processes 
  • Extensive experience with CCB management 
  • Knowledge of EIA-649 or equivalent CM standards 
  • Experience with complex acquisition programs 
  • Advanced proficiency in CM tools and databases 
  • Strong leadership and communication skills 
  • Ability to mentor and train others
