We are seeking a seasoned, full-time Veterinary Practice Manager to lead Sawtooth Veterinary Services, an established veterinary hospital in Jerome, Idaho. This is a unique opportunity to provide exceptional support to a dedicated and compassionate team, shape hospital culture, and play a key leadership role while ensuring the hospital operates smoothly to provide the experience possible to our clients and patients.


The Role

As Practice Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the smooth running of our clinic, balancing leadership, operational excellence, and team wellbeing. You'll work closely with the Medical Director, veterinarians, technicians and support staff to deliver exceptional service to our clients and their pets and animals.

What You'll Do:


Team Leadership & Development

Recruit, hire, and onboard veterinary support staff

Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability for the team

Foster a positive, supportive, and high-performing work environment

Hospital Operations & Performance

Oversee daily hospital operations and ensure efficient workflows

Monitor key performance metrics and help drive hospital growth

Manage scheduling, staffing, and operational priorities

Financial & Inventory Management

Manage hospital budgets and expenses, including inventory and labor

Ensure effective inventory management and supply ordering

Partner with leadership to support the hospital's financial success

Client Experience

Promote an exceptional client experience and high-quality patient care

Support the team in handling client concerns and creating lasting relationships with pet owners

What We're Looking For

3+ years of veterinary practice management experience required

Proven experience leading teams and managing hospital operations

Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Experience managing budgets, inventory, and operational performance

A proactive leader who thrives in building systems and teams
