    Airbus International Services (AIS) is a subsidiary wholly owned by Airbus Helicopters, the world-leading rotorcraft manufacturer. AIS is based in Dublin, Ireland.

    Established in 2010, Airbus International Services has been supporting Airbus Helicopters, Airbus Commercial, Airbus Defence & Space, ATR and Satair, with high quality services delivered by experienced and highly skilled professionals deployed worldwide (50+ countries).

    AIS has three business lines, dedicated to supporting our groupwide customers:

    • Helicopter Technical Operations supporting Airbus Helicopters;
    • Aircrew Assistance supporting Airbus Helicopters and ATR;
    • Airplane Operations supporting Airbus Commercial, Airbus Defence and Space, ATR, Satair;

    AIS's Technical Support activity offers versatile and innovative solutions to our customers regulatory and business needs. Our strong customer-focused ethic coupled with our reactivity and flexibility will help our customers excel.

    Our services are provided exclusively to Airbus Group entities and affiliates.

    We are looking for a C295 B1 Technician to join the AIS Airplane Business Line. The selected candidate will work in cooperation with the AirbusDefence & Space team and AIS and will be asked to support short term and/or long term missions Worldwide.

    Employment Type: Full time, Permanent contract.

    Place of work: Worldwide.

    The candidate must be available to travel.

    Responsibilities:

    • Exercising license/approval in relation to the inspection and everyday processes
    • Certifying scheduled and unscheduled tasks on LTA (Light Transport Aircraft / C295 or CN235) agreed with the Customer
    • Planned maintenance, SB coming from modifications not performed at Final Assembly Line or appearing after the delivery of the A/C
    • Inspections, repairs, replacements, functional checks, troubleshooting and fault isolations
    • Carrying out functional tests and deliveries with the customer
    • May be required to manage small groups of non-licensed mechanics in the performance of maintenance activities
    • Certifying jobs performed by you and/or team members
    • Ensuring crews are suitably debriefed to ensure defects are accurately defined and recorded
    • Ensuring high quality work is completed in relation to aircraft, components and completed documentation
    • Setting up of work processes and practices and will be involved in all aspects of technical support of aircraft
    • Ensuring equipment, facilities and premises are maintained to a high standard
    • Analyzing and interpreting technical information relating to aircraft
    • Management of workforce & workload
    • Work closely with other departments to complete projects

    This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.

    Qualifications:

    • Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or comparable training
    • Valid EASA or EMAR Part 66 license B1 with type rating
    • Experience in civil/military aircraft maintenance in a similar role as a prerequisite
    • Fluent in English
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
    • You are willing to travel and flexible (the job includes assignments at our customers worldwide)
    • You have the ability to solve problems and show a very high degree of independence
    • You have a very high sense of responsibility and quality awareness
    • You are familiar with applications of the MS Office package and/or GSuite package
