Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and supervising electrical projects from conception to completion. As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will work closely with project managers, clients, and cross-functional teams to ensure that all electrical installations meet the required specifications, standards, and safety regulations. Your expertise will be crucial in performing calculations, preparing documentation, and coordinating activities between various project stakeholders. You will also manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring that every phase of the project aligns with company goals and client expectations. With your strong problem-solving skills and technical knowledge, you will identify potential issues and implement effective solutions promptly.   • Design and develop electrical systems and components per project specifications.
  • Coordinate electrical engineering efforts with other engineering disciplines.
  • Perform calculations and simulations to assess system performance and compliance.
  • Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Prepare project documentation, including specifications, reports, and proposals.
  • Lead the design and engineering of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, instrumentation, lighting, and grounding systems for various facilities and processes.
  • Prepare detailed electrical specifications, drawings (e.g., single-line diagrams, schematics, panel layouts, cable schedules, conduit plans), and calculations.
  • Perform load calculations, short circuit analyses, protective device coordination studies, and arc flash analyses.
  • Select appropriate electrical equipment, components, and materials, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Identify project risks and implement measures to mitigate them.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in electrical project engineering with a minimum of 3 years.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems design and analysis.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and compliance regulations.
  • Proficiency in using CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
