Job description

What you'll do

As part of the Adobe Design Content Strategy (ADCS) team, you'll lead the team responsible for content and storytelling for Adobe.com-helping shape how Adobe shows up across audience journeys, product storytelling, and conversion experiences at a global scale.

This role sits at the intersection of storytelling, experience strategy, design, and organizational leadership. You'll partner closely with leaders across Design, Product, Marketing, and Engineering to create connected, design-forward experiences that are emotionally resonant, strategically cohesive, and deeply reflective of Adobe's brand and quality standards.

You'll lead a growing team of content strategists and writers while helping define the systems, practices, and operating models that support the next generation of Adobe.com experiences.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead and grow a team of content strategists supporting Adobe.com experiences [across audience hubs, product pages, offer journeys, and conversion flows.]

  • Define strategic direction for content and storytelling across interconnected web experiences, ensuring coherence across journeys, surfaces, and touchpoints.

  • Partner closely with Design and Content leadership to shape highly crafted, emotionally resonant experiences that reflect Adobe's brand, design sensibility, storytelling standards, and quality standards.

  • Elevate the quality of storytelling, copywriting, naming, messaging, and information architecture across highly visible customer-facing experiences.

  • Help shape the end-to-end Adobe.com experience - balancing clarity, emotional connection, conversion, and ecosystem consistency.

  • Establish scalable systems, frameworks, governance models, and operational processes that improve consistency, quality, and collaboration across the ecosystem.

  • Drive alignment across Product, Marketing, Design, Engineering, and other stakeholders to support connected audience journeys and shared decision-making.

  • Define the future operating model for content strategy across Adobe.com [as the organization evolves toward more ecosystem-oriented and audience-led experiences?].

  • Bring clarity and direction to fast-moving and ambiguous initiatives, helping teams navigate prioritization, quality, and organizational complexity.

  • Mentor and develop content strategists, copywriters, and emerging leaders, strengthening storytelling, strategic thinking, systems thinking, influence, and leadership capabilities across the team.

  • Partner with leaders across Adobe Design to strengthen content and storytelling standards, cross-functional collaboration, and organizational alignment across Adobe's ecosystem.

What you'll bring to the team

As an experienced creative and organizational leader, you know how to balance high craft standards with systems thinking and operational scale. You're comfortable influencing senior stakeholders, navigating ambiguity, and helping teams deliver work that is strategically grounded, emotionally compelling, and operationally sustainable.

Must-haves:

  • Significant experience leading content, copywriting, editorial, or storytelling teams across large-scale digital ecosystems, customer journeys, or highly visible consumer-facing experiences.

  • 10+ years of experience in copywriting, editorial, storytelling, content strategy, digital experience, or related disciplines.

  • 8+ years of people management experience, including experience leading senior individual contributors and/or managers through organizational complexity and change.

  • Proven experience building and scaling high-performing teams, operating models, and cross-functional partnerships.

  • Exceptional storytelling, editorial, and copywriting instincts, with a strong point of view around craft, quality, and digital experience.

  • Strong systems-thinking skills and experience creating scalable frameworks, governance models, content systems, messaging architectures, taxonomies, and information architectures.

  • Experience influencing strategic decisions and driving alignment across senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • A demonstrated ability to create operational clarity and drive execution across large, matrixed organizations.

  • Strong understanding of how storytelling, interaction, structure, and visual design work together to shape end-to-end digital experiences.

  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience leading storytelling or copy teams for highly crafted, design-forward customer experiences.

  • Experience working on large-scale web ecosystems, audience journeys, or conversion-focused customer experiences.

  • Experience working within centralized design organizations or embedded/hybrid operating models.

  • Experience contributing to or shaping design systems, storytelling frameworks, voice and tone systems, and content governance programs.

  • Familiarity with experimentation, optimization, or conversion-focused experience design.
