    eneral Description:
    Under the direction of an assigned System Operations Area Supervisor, this position is responsible for completing startup, testing and commissioning of new HVAC and plumbing systems.
    Essential/Typical Duties:
    • Startup and mechanical functional testing of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and plumbing equipment.
    • Mechanical system commissioning and testing.
    • Plumbing system commissioning and testing.
    • Complete Startup and commissioning documentation.
    • Read and interpret Mechanical prints, specifications and other construction contract documents
    • Maintain proper documentation of daily activities using project specific reporting procedures
    • Collaboration with team members and other construction trades
    • Confirm company QA/QC protocols are met
    • Implementation of Safety Department's protocols
    • Implementation of Acco policies and procedures
    • Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor and/or System Operations Regional Manager.

    Position Requirements (Skills, Work Experience, Education, Certifications, Licenses, etc.):
    • High school diploma, Certificate of G.E.D, or certificate of completion in an apprenticeship program in HVAC & refrigeration, or similar trade or technical program completion.
    • Three or more years as a commercial Journeyperson HVAC Technician or equivalent.
    • Self-motivated, energetic, ambitious and have a positive attitude.
    • Good written and oral communication skills.
    • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with other technicians/team members
    • Ability to utilize a personal computer.
    • Occasional overtime and weekends will be required
    • Willingness and ability to attend ACCO and Union training sessions (signatory sponsorship will be provided to non-signatory applicants hired for the position).
    • Valid (non-commercial) driver's license with MVR that meets ACCO's risk insurance standards.
