Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Sales or other related field preferred. Previous experience in hospice, home health, healthcare sales and/or community development. Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates an ability to work closely with a variety of people while effectively using problem-solving skills. Demonstrates an understanding of referral patterns in the service area. Demonstrates an ability to effectively direct and motivate a professional staff. Demonstrates the ability to develop and present new In-Services. Responsibilities: Works in the field managing Hospice Care Consultants (HCC) at a minimum of three days a week Complete ride along forms for each HCC that time is spent with, delivering them to both the HCC for feedback and your Executive Director (ED) for communication purposes. Manage the quota of each HCC and Clinical Liaison. Any number off the norm for an HCC must be submitted to the Executive Vice President, Business Development & Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) by the 15th of the month PRIOR to the start of the quarter. Each Director, Business Development (DBD) is to meet with their team (face-to-face) on a weekly basis; this meeting can be either in the office or out in the field. As part of the weekly marketing meeting the DBD should prepare and distribute an outline for the meeting, review Amplicare Reports to ensure usage and documentation, review the Call Log Report/Referral Conversion Report/ABC Report of active accounts.
