Job Summary: Responsible for receiving, scanning, and processing returned products within the warehouse management system. Ensures inventory is accurately tracked, verified, and routed to the appropriate department for further processing. Maintains inventory accuracy and supports efficient warehouse operations through detailed record keeping and product identification.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receive and scan returned products into the warehouse management system.
  • Verify product information and ensure all inventory is accurately recorded.
  • Research and identify products that are missing, mislabeled, or not found within the system.
  • Route products to the correct department or designated warehouse location based on company procedures.
  • Transfer unidentifiable or exception items to the appropriate department for further investigation and resolution.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update system information as needed.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Work closely with other warehouse departments to resolve product discrepancies.
  • Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Meet productivity and accuracy standards while handling returned merchandise.

Required Skills:

  • Experience using RF scanners or handheld scanning devices.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control practices is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment.
