In this important role, you'll be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and onboarding qualified driver candidates while delivering an outstanding experience throughout the hiring process.

What You'll Do as a Driver Recruitment Specialist:Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
  • Source and attract qualified driver candidates through job boards, referrals, networking, social media, and community outreach
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective drivers
  • Attend job fairs, hiring events, and community functions to promote career opportunities with zTrip
  • Screen applicants, conduct initial interviews, and guide candidates through the recruitment process
  • Promote zTrip as an employer of choice within the local market
  • Develop innovative recruiting strategies to meet hiring objectives and workforce needs
Onboarding & New Driver Success
  • Conduct new hire orientations and onboarding sessions
  • Assist candidates with onboarding paperwork, licensing requirements, and employment documentation
  • Ensure new drivers are fully prepared for a successful start with the company
  • Serve as a primary point of contact throughout the onboarding process
  • Educate new hires on company policies, procedures, and operational expectations
Driver Engagement & Retention
  • Build positive working relationships with new and existing drivers
  • Conduct regular follow-up communications to support driver success and engagement
  • Address concerns and connect drivers with appropriate resources and support
  • Partner with operations teams to enhance the overall driver experience
  • Support retention initiatives designed to improve driver satisfaction and long-term success
  • Help foster a positive, professional, and supportive driver culture
Reporting & Team Collaboration
  • Maintain accurate recruiting, hiring, and onboarding records
  • Track recruiting efforts, hiring progress, and retention metrics
  • Provide regular updates and reports to leadership
  • Collaborate with operations and management teams to achieve hiring goals
  • Recommend improvements to recruiting processes and candidate engagement strategies
What We're Looking for as a Driver Recruitment Specialist:
  • Previous experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, human resources, customer service, sales, or a related field preferred
