Yellowstone Club’s Residential Services is currently seeking candidates for a Residential Shopper for the upcoming Winter season! Our Winter employment months are November – April.


The purpose of the Residential Shopper is to provide world class service throughout the shopping experience for Members and guests. It is the duty of the Residential Shopper to provide timely and accurate procurement of goods and thoughtful delivery of all shopping orders. The ability to remain organized and communicate effectively with teammates, retailers, and Members is critical. The Residential Shopper is expected to follow and shop grocery and retail lists at a variety of vendors according to specific instructions and details, and deliver goods in private residences in an efficient, courteous, and aesthetic manner.


Major Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that each Member and guest receives outstanding service in a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every Member and guest, maintaining outstanding service standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.
  • Empowered to guarantee total Member satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism to our Members at all times, take pride in representing Yellowstone Club professionally with our Members and guests and assure that all transactions are handled in a legal and ethical manner.
  • Understand and apply all property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment for team members, Members, and guests at all times. In the event of an accident or emergency, seek medical attention if necessary and contact your direct manager, the Director of Property Management, or Human Resources immediately. 
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all Yellowstone Club team members to foster and promote a positive working environment.

  • Follow specific instructions and requests throughout the shopping process.

  • Maintain clear, consistent, and professional communication via email, phone, and in person with a variety of recipients and contacts.

  • Provide exceptional, world-class service when interacting with Members, guests, and clients in both private residences and virtual meetings.


Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Be willing to work a flexible and sometimes inconsistent schedule. This may include unexpected late nights and significant amounts of overtime and extra work days during peak season.
  • Follow detailed and extensive shopping lists.
  • Communicate and work closely with the Residential Shopping Manager, Assistant Manager, and other Shoppers to facilitate procurement of high-volume lists.
  • Follow guidelines to create aesthetic and intuitive grocery and product setups in private residences.
  • Drive in a safe manner for several hours per day, making multiple stops at vendors throughout Bozeman and Big Sky.
  • Follow Yellowstone Club, Montana State, and local regulations when operating company vehicles. 
  • Maintain an organized and clean vehicle in accordance with Residential Services Vehicle Policies, standard safety requirements, and take into account a high volume of purchased items during shift. 
  • Comprehend and deliver on all Member, guest, and manager requests. 
  • Maintain a willingness to adapt and accommodate last-minute requests, returns to Bozeman from Big Sky during shift, and vendor sourcing issues. 
  • Meet departmental productivity, organization, and consistency standards.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude at all times, including Member, guest, vendor, retailer, and teammate interactions.
  • Assist with inventory, organization, and procurement of goods for Pioneer Mercantile.
  • Assist with inventory, organization, and procurement of backstock throughout on-site offices and Member homes.
  • Maintain ability to consistently perform and deliver on all job duties with little to no oversight or direction.
  • Maintain privacy of Members and guests at all times.
  • Project a favorable image of Yellowstone Club at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times.
  • Perform work in a safe and high-quality manner.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with all employees, supervisors, managers, directors, and VPs.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude at all times.
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established Club policies, procedures, and standards of service to achieve the overall objectives of this position.

Experience/Education Required

  • High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work required.
  • Experience in a fast-paced customer service role and environment.


Experience/Education Preferred

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited University.
  • 1-3 Years of work experience in a customer service role, front-facing hospitality role (hotels, clubs, resorts, restaurants), or retail/procurement role.


Certificates & Licenses

  • Valid US Driver’s License
  • All drivers must be at least 19 years old with 3 years of driving experience.


Computer Skills

  • Proficiency working with basic technology, including smartphones, computers, and email.
  • Experience using Smartsheet and/or Microsoft Office Suite is preferred. 


Language Ability

  • Able to speak clearly and effectively with Members, guests, co-workers, vendors and other Yellowstone Club departments. Able to write clearly and legibly.


Math Ability

  • Able to perform basic math calculations.


Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to solve basic problems and/or know when it is necessary to get a manager to assist in problem solving.
