What Success Looks Like:
In this role, success means:

  • Return-to-work decisions are safe, appropriate, and employee-focused.
  • Occupational injuries are managed effectively and efficiently.
  • Client leaders view you as a trusted healthcare partner.
  • Documentation remains accurate, compliant, and audit-ready.
  • Employees feel supported throughout the recovery and return-to-work process.
What You'll Bring:
Required Qualifications:
  • Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in North Carolina.
  • Current unrestricted DEA registration.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Minimum of 3 years of advanced practice experience.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Occupational Medicine experience.
  • Employee Health experience.
  • Workers' Compensation case management experience.
  • Return-to-Work program experience.
  • Experience working in onsite employer clinics, urgent care, emergency medicine, family practice, or occupational health settings.
You'll Thrive Here If You:
  • Enjoy working independently while collaborating with a larger care team.
  • Have a passion for occupational medicine and employee health.
  • Are confident making clinical decisions and recommendations.
  • Value building strong relationships with employees and business leaders.
  • Want a flexible, meaningful role with measurable impact.
