Assembly

Location: Saline, MI Shift: 1st Shift Pay: $16.50/hr

Job Summary
Workbox Staffing is hiring Assemblers in Saline, MI. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is comfortable being on their feet. As an Assembler, you will assemble finished products and sub-assemblies while following work instructions and quality standards.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Assemble products according to work instructions and customer specifications.
  • Fasten parts together using bolts, screws, and other fasteners.
  • Use electric or air-powered torque wrenches and screw guns.
  • Assemble boxes, cases, and other materials as needed.
  • Monitor parts and supplies at your workstation.
  • Inspect completed work for quality and report any defects or equipment issues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Work as part of a team and communicate clearly with coworkers.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions and all safety procedures.
  • Assist with inventory counts and other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Steel-toe shoes required.
  • Must be dependable and have reliable attendance.
  • Overtime may be required.
