Trident Systems is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead supply chain execution supporting the Ibeos portfolio within the Space Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. Reporting to the VP of Operations, this position will lead and develop a team of Material Program Managers and Buyers responsible for major subcontractors, complex bills of material (BOMs), and material and subcontract requirements across multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and programs.

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for planning and executing material and subcontract strategies across the program lifecycle, including capture and proposal activities, program planning, procurement, supplier management, material financial management, and program execution. The ideal candidate is an experienced supply chain leader with a strong background in aerospace and/or defense programs, complex hardware supply chains, supplier and subcontractor management, and cross-functional team leadership. The candidate must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, resolving complex supplier issues, and establishing processes and organizational structures to support business growth.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop, and manage the Supply Chain team supporting the Ibeos portfolio, including hiring, resource planning, coaching, performance management, and professional development.
  • Establish and continuously improve supply chain processes, tools, and organizational structures to support current and future business requirements.
  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies for material, inventory, and subcontract services across multiple programs.
  • Partner with Program Management, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Contracts, Quality, and other functions to develop and execute program supply chain plans.
  • Establish and maintain make/buy plans, procurement strategies, material schedules, budgets, and supplier plans to support successful program execution.
  • Lead supplier and subcontractor management activities, including sourcing, negotiations, terms and conditions, cost and schedule management, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
  • Develop and execute mitigation strategies for supplier, material, cost, schedule, quality, and other supply chain risks.
  • Monitor key supply chain performance metrics, including supplier delivery, quality, cost, lead times, inventory, and risk, and communicate significant issues and recovery plans to leadership.
  • Provide regular updates to business and executive leadership regarding supply chain status, risks, opportunities, and issues affecting program cost and schedule performance.
  • Support program financial commitments through material forecasting, cost management, program cost account management (CAM), and supplier management.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain teams across SES and other Trident business areas to leverage inventory, suppliers, processes, and best practices.
  • Support capture and proposal activities, including supplier strategy, make/buy analysis, estimates, material planning, and subcontract planning.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, contractual, and company requirements, including FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and other requirements applicable to defense contractor supply chain activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve supply chain efficiency, predictability, cost, quality, and schedule performance.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with strategic suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support customer engagements and other off-site activities or travel as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience / combined education
  • 9+ years of related supply chain, procurement, subcontract, or materials management experience; or 7+ years with a graduate degree; or 13+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience in aerospace and/or defense industry, including development and/or production projects
  • Demonstrated experience managing, leading, and developing supply chain professionals.
  • Experience working across multiple functions, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and programs.
  • Experience across a broad range of supply chain activities, including supplier risk management, negotiations, terms and conditions, contract types, procurement, and post-award supplier/subcontract management.
  • Experience managing suppliers and subcontractors supporting complex components, assemblies, systems, services, and commodities.
  • Working knowledge of regulations and compliance requirements applicable to defense contractor supply chain activities, including FAR, DFARS, and ITAR.
  • Experience developing and executing supply chain strategies that support cost, schedule, quality, and program performance objectives.
  • Proficiency using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience with printed circuit boards (PCBs), printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), space-compliant BOMs, space payloads, electronics, and/or software.
  • Experience supporting space, aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability electronics programs.
