The Role

In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing Wolters Kluwer's Global Insurance Program, driving claims excellence, and advising on other risk management issues. With a global footprint and a commitment to excellence, Wolters Kluwer offers you the platform to make a meaningful impact.

Your Impact

  • Manage Wolters Kluwer's Global Insurance Program, including staying ahead of evolving global risk and insurance trends and ensuring the program remains fit for purpose.
  • Lead insurance claims management end-to-end, driving timely reporting, recovery, and resolution.
  • Serve as a bridge between incident management teams, internal legal counsel, and other stakeholders on insurance claims issues.
  • Support transactions impacting the company in the areas of insurance and risk management, including advising on insurance wordings in customer and vendor contracts and supporting insurance due diligence and integration issues arising from M&A&D transactions.
  • Design and lead trainings for internal stakeholders on Wolters Kluwer's Global Insurance Program, insurance wordings and issues in transactions, and other risk management topics.
  • Design and apply internal playbooks/guides to ensure the efficient and accurate implementation of the above.
  • Lead cross-functional risk projects that align with corporate objectives.
  • Deliver timely and insightful risk analysis and strategic recommendations.

What You Bring

  • 5-10 years of experience in global insurance program management and/or claims management, preferably at a broker, insurer, or large multinational.
  • Experience managing the risk profile of a medium-to-large, multinational technology or professional services firm preferred.
  • Substantial prior experience in insurance claims management strongly preferred.
  • Prior legal education, training, or experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Dutch law and NL/UK based global insurance program placements a plus.
  • Strong project management skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience in building and leveraging an international network and working effectively cross functionally
  • A quick learner with curiosity, a "can-do" attitude, and analytical strength to understand complex information and translate it into actionable insights and strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills (in English), with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, global team environment across functions
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills across multiple time zones and teams.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel. This work may require occasional travel for internal and external meetings.

Compensation:

$122,300.00 - $218,550.00 USDThis role is eligible for Bonus.

Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position. Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location.
