Position Overview

Silver Wing Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our rapidly expanding telehealth practice on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for professionals who possess a strong desire to make a meaningful impact on the mental wellness of individuals within a flexible and dynamic work environment. You'll have the opportunity to utilize your expertise to develop effective therapeutic interventions that support clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and more.

About the Organization

Silver Wing Counseling Center is committed to providing accessible and quality mental health care to the communities we serve. Our practice leverages the latest in telehealth technology to reach a broad client base in Lowell, Massachusetts, and beyond. We prioritize culturally competent care, fostering an inclusive environment that respects and acknowledges the diverse backgrounds of our clients. Our team collaborates closely to ensure comprehensive and personalized treatment plans that empower individuals to lead healthier lives.

Work Environment

As a remote practice, our team benefits from the flexibility of telehealth while maintaining high standards of professionalism and connectivity. The use of electronic health record (EHR) systems streamlines communication and treatment documentation, allowing counselors to focus on patient outcomes. You'll be part of a supportive virtual team that values ongoing collaboration and innovation in mental health care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health statuses through scheduled virtual consultations, identifying their unique needs and treatment goals.
  • Develop and implement personalized therapeutic interventions that may involve cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness strategies, and other evidence-based approaches.
  • Facilitate regular follow-up sessions with clients to monitor progress, reassess treatment plans, and adapt strategies to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other health care providers, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in line with ethical and legal standards, ensuring access to safety protocols and best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse range of clients facing varying degrees of mental health challenges, including but not limited to those dealing with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. You will have the opportunity to provide both individual and group therapy while employing techniques that respect cultural differences and promote healing in a safe environment.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid professional license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.
  • At least four years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of mental health disorders and treatment methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools to enhance client care.
  • A strong commitment to professional ethics, including maintaining confidentiality and establishing professional boundaries.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy sessions with a focus on culturally responsive practices.
  • Demonstrable skills in crisis intervention and the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build therapeutic relationships with a diverse clientele.
Compensation and Benefits

Silver Wing Counseling Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a favorable compensation package, we provide:

  • A comprehensive healthcare benefits package designed to promote employee wellness.
  • A retirement savings plan featuring employer-matching contributions to help you secure your financial future.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) along with designated holiday pay to ensure work-life balance.
  • Ongoing continuing education opportunities and support for professional development to enhance your skills.
  • A collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity and leadership opportunities.
