Job description

Austin Peay State University is continuously taking applications for individuals seeking adjunct, dual enrollment or temporary instructor positions for all semesters in the College of STEM. 

Instructors are needed for the following disciplines: Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering Technology (Automotive, Electrical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics and Construction), Geology, Geography, Medical Laboratory Science, Radiological Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering and Astronomy. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities 

Teach courses pending department need. 

Physical Requirements 

Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. 

Required Minimum Qualifications 

- Master's degree or higher. 

- Demonstrated success as a teacher preferred. 

- A background search will be required of the successful applicant.
