Weyerhaeuser is inviting motivated individuals to attend our upcoming Job Fair and learn more about joining our high-performing team in Grifton, NC.

Ready to attend? Apply today! Candidates must complete the APT assessment before the Job Fair. After applying, watch your email for assessment instructions and complete the assessment prior to August 29 to ensure consideration for available opportunities. Candidates who meet the minimum qualifications and achieve a passing result on the APT assessment will be invited to attend the Hiring Event.

Production Schedule: Production employees work a rotating schedule, alternating between one week of day shifts and one week of night shifts.

Sawmill Hours:

  • Day Shift: 5:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Night Shift: 5:30 PM – 4:30 AM

Planer Mill Hours:

  • Day Shift: 4:50 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Night Shift: 4:50 PM – 4:00 AM

Qualifications:

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1–2 years of steady, documented work experience.
  • Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Flexibility to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to wear required PPE and work in extreme temperatures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb stairs, navigate catwalks, bend, and stoop.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
