Job Summaryย
ADP User Experience is looking for a highly motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Visual and UX Designer.
The ADP User Experience team is responsible to expand the UX Strategic footprint, visibility and value added across the organization by leading the Global UX Design and Research movement across ADP.ย
We leverage skilled UX professionals to provide consulting services and bring new UX Innovation and industry best-practices to ADP.ย
You will be responsible for a wide range of design projects with a focus on simple, clean design for our browser and mobile user interface.ย
This role is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about design, layout, form and typography for web/mobile and other emerging technologies.ย
Together with other designers, product managers, and researchers and developers, you will work to find solutions to our users challenges and create the necessary simulations and final graphics to explain your suggested design solutions.ย
You will constantly play an active role in driving your vision through, getting it into the product, and reacting to users feedback.ย
We are seeking someone that is enthusiastic about working in an agile and iterative environment.ย
Responsibilitiesย
Create visual and interaction concepts then iterate into increasingly high fidelity prototypes for user evaluation leading to the final visual designย
Write the visual and behavioral style guide for the GUI components
Develop innovative design solutions for multiple projectsย
Communicate effectively with the teamย
Provide expertise on color theory, typography, composition, layout, etc.ย
Ability to coordinate multiple projects while remaining highly detail orientedย
Remain flexible to changing prioritiesย
Keep up-to-date knowledge of ever-evolving design trends and techniques Requirementsย
4+ years designing web and mobile applicationsย
A strong portfolio of great user experience designsย
A deep understanding of web design, mobile app and mobile web best practicesย
Be an advocate for the user and passionate about the user experienceย
Be detail oriented on the deliverables - creating pixel perfect assetsย
Design experience on consumer and business applications in the entire range of visual design activities:ย
Concept drawingsย
Low fidelity wireframesย
Simulationsย
High fidelity pixel-accurate renderingsย
Style guide for components and accompanying CSSย
Innovative design thinking on core functions such as navigation, search, notifications and social features (tagging, rating, etc)ย
Experience designing data visualizations with graphs, charts, etc.ย
Experience in an agile and collaborative environment (early-stage startup or other Rapid Application Development - RAD - environments) is a plusย
Expertise with the appropriate tools for each stage of this process.
