Functional Area: Operations

The Role

One (1) First Shift and One (1) Second Shift Weekend Supervisor Positions are available. These roles will Supervises production shifts, monitoring attendance, performance evaluation of operators, packers, and line coordinators.  Ability to evaluate and implement production schedules on Weekends.

What You'll Do

  • The Supervisor will work Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 12 Hour Shifts. 
  • Supervise a team of Machine Operators, Production Operators, Waste Management Operators and Janitors.
  • Works closely with other departments regarding production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolves problems.
  • Meets production financial standards by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.
  • Evaluates functionality and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment and employees.
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal (OSHA) codes and regulations.

What You'll Bring

EDUCATION - High School Diploma or GED 

EXPERIENCE - 3-5 years relevant production experience in a food manufacturing environment. 

  • Knowledge - Knowledge of regulatory requirements, especially those governing the food/dairy industry. Thorough understanding of attendance and disciplinary systems in place. 

  • Skills - Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety Practices High level of interpersonal skills. Proficient computer skills (Microsoft applications). 

  • Abilities - Work with all departments. Maintain a Safe/Healthy working environment for all employees. 

  • SUPERVISORY SCOPE List the title the job will report to, and the titles and approximate or average number of direct and indirect reports for which this position will be responsible.

The base pay range for this position is $69,100 to $96,740 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  This pay range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
