As a vital member of our clinical team, you will play a significant role in improving the mental health of our clients through individualized assessment and tailored therapeutic interventions.

About the Organization

Wellness Path Counseling Center is a rapidly growing mental health service provider located in Joliet, Illinois. Our mission is to promote optimal mental well-being and support individuals navigating various challenges in their lives. We are committed to delivering high-quality therapy services that are evidence-based and centered around the unique needs of each client. Our organization values a collaborative, supportive environment where therapists can thrive while providing exceptional care.

Work Environment

Working remotely with Wellness Path Counseling Center allows you the flexibility to manage your schedule while connecting with clients via telehealth platforms. Our teletherapy approach means you can work from virtually anywhere, thus integrating your professional goals with your lifestyle. This setup fosters an environment conducive to both high-quality client interactions and personal work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to establish clients' mental health needs, using validated tools and interviews.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with their mental health goals and track progress through regular evaluations.
  • Deliver individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to the adult client population.
  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring client safety and well-being during emergencies.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by attending trainings, webinars, and supervisions that keep you updated on industry standards and mental health best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population is diverse, encompassing adults facing a broad spectrum of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship issues, and trauma. You will leverage your expertise to create a safe, judgment-free space that empowers clients to explore their feelings and work towards coping strategies and solutions. Your contributions will lead to enhanced client outcomes by prioritizing their individual mental health journeys.

Qualifications
  • Must hold a valid, current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with clients and collaborating effectively with colleagues.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude toward clients from all backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Clean disciplinary record with no prior incidents affecting licensure.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with diverse adult populations, particularly in a teletherapy or remote clinical setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms to streamline client management and documentation.
  • Specialized training in specific therapeutic techniques (e.g., trauma-informed care, mindfulness-based interventions) is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary range of $90,000 to $104,000 per year based on caseload and experience.
  • Comprehensive health benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Flexible retirement savings plan with employer matching to support your long-term financial goals.
  • Convenient flexible work schedule promoting work-life balance, with the convenience of telehealth.
  • Minimal paperwork requirements allow you to focus on client care rather than administrative tasks.
  • Immediate access to unlimited referrals, ensuring you can quickly build your client base upon joining.
  • Access to user-friendly therapist dashboards for efficient management of client sessions and schedules.
  • Rapid onboarding process coupled with ongoing support to ensure your success within our organization.
