Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs.
• Provide various evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups focused on achieving therapeutic objectives.
• Employ multiple therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), solution-focused brief therapy, and psychodynamic therapy.
• Engage in collaborative care with a team of professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide holistic support to clients.
• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems where applicable.
• Stay ahead of current mental health research trends and partake in professional development workshops to continually enhance your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our LPCs work with a diverse client base, including individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and substance abuse. Counselors are expected to tailor their therapeutic approach to fit the unique needs and backgrounds of each client, ensuring an inclusive and supportive environment for everyone seeking help.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related discipline is essential.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee.
• A minimum of two years of experience in providing counseling services, preferably within a clinical outpatient setting.
• Strong knowledge of ethical guidelines and legal regulations governing counseling practices.
• Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant software to enhance clinical efficiency.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and with various healthcare professionals to achieve enhanced patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as trauma-informed care, substance use disorders, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.
• Experience using a variety of therapeutic practices to address complex client needs.
