Work Environment

The work setting is onsite at our Jacksonville facility, which is equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and technologies designed to enhance rehabilitation outcomes. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, providing a work-life balance that most healthcare settings do not offer.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient evaluations to understand individual goals, medical histories, and physical conditions.
• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based methodologies.
• Manage a steady caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring each session is tailored to maximize their rehabilitation potential.
• Employ manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to enhance patient outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to incorporate a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care.
• Encourage patients by motivating them throughout their rehabilitation journey to foster their independence and confidence in their abilities.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) software, such as WebPT.
• Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of various treatment approaches and adapt plans accordingly to ensure optimal results.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse range of patients suffering from orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to post-surgical joint replacements, sports injuries, and chronic pain disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for making a difference in patients' lives, focusing on reducing reliance on surgical interventions and promoting conservative treatment alternatives.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist license issued in the state of Florida, with no record of board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design targeted exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience in utilizing EMR Software, particularly WebPT, to document treatment plans and patient progress effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, enhancing your capability to manage and treat complex cases.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care.

Compensation and Benefits
