 Position Overview: This position handles food expediting operations

EXPEDITING:

  • Manage the order flow from the kitchen to ensure dishes are prepared in sequence and sent out to diners in a timely manner.
  • Deliver food from the kitchen to the table, bar, or take-out area.
  • Check the presentation and quality of each dish before it is served to guarantee it meets the restaurant’s standards.Act as a communication hub between the kitchen and the dining room staff to relay messages about order status, dietary restrictions, and guest preferences.
  • Organize and prioritize food tickets to streamline kitchen operations and improve service efficiency.
  • Resolve any issues related to dish preparation or timing by coordinating with the kitchen and servers.

Qualifications: 
  • Customer Service Experience: Prior experience in customer service or a hospitality role, with a demonstrated ability to engage and satisfy guests.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting warmly and effectively with guests and team members.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, ensuring all aspects of the guest experience are managed effectively from cleanliness to personal interactions.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive workplace.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and interact effectively with kitchen staff, serving staff, and customers.
