Cornea Refractive Surgeon

Location: Las Colinas, TX 75038

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cornea Refractive Surgeon to join our advanced ophthalmology practice in Las Colinas, TX. The ideal candidate will specialize in corneal and refractive surgical procedures, providing exceptional patient care and utilizing the latest technologies to improve vision outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform corneal and refractive surgeries including LASIK, PRK, cataract surgery, corneal transplants, and other advanced procedures.
  • Evaluate patients’ eye health and vision to determine appropriate surgical interventions.
  • Collaborate with optometrists, ophthalmologists, and clinical staff to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient education and follow-up assessments.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Stay current with advancements in corneal and refractive surgery techniques and technologies.
  • Participate in community outreach and patient education initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology.
  • Fellowship training or specialized experience in cornea and refractive surgery preferred.
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of Texas.
  • Proven experience performing a wide range of corneal and refractive surgical procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Work Environment

This position is based in a modern, well-equipped ophthalmology clinic located in Las Colinas, TX. The role involves direct patient care, surgical procedures, and collaboration with a dedicated clinical team.
