Venable LLP's Commercial Litigation DC/Virginia Group seeks a mid-level associate with a minimum of three years of experience to join the team in the Washington, D.C. office.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in a litigation practice and a strong interest in handling commercial disputes across a variety of industries and legal subject matters. The successful candidate is experienced at managing litigation workflow, including deadlines, filings, and multiple workstreams across matters. Strong legal writing and analytical skills, with experience drafting motions, briefs, and written discovery, is required. Candidates should have some deposition and large litigation experience as a midlevel associate. Dedication to professional development, a desire to work with and learn in a team setting, and excellent interpersonal skills is essential. Candidates must hold a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to and in good standing with the D.C. Bar. Please include law school transcripts with submissions.

The salary range for associate positions is $215,000 to $355,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of job-related factors including, but not limited to, years of related experience, level of education, skills, credentials and certifications, responsibilities and performance.
