Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to diagnose and treat various mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, adapting strategies as needed based on patient progress and feedback.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including primary care providers and community resources, to create comprehensive discharge plans that ensure continuity of care.
  • Utilize telehealth technologies to provide therapy sessions, maintain accurate documentation, and facilitate seamless communication with clients.
  • Educate clients and their families about available community resources, referring them to support groups, treatment programs, or additional mental health providers as required.
  • Engage in ongoing personal and professional development, participating in training and peer review activities to enhance therapeutic competencies.
  • Advocate for clients by ensuring effective communication among care teams and assisting with the coordination of care, particularly for those at risk of readmission or delays in treatment.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as necessary, including bereavement counseling and additional social work interventions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our mental health therapists serve diverse client populations, including individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and personality disorders. You will also have the opportunity to work with families, facilitating therapy sessions that address the systemic dynamics impacting mental health.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current State Licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, or Psychologist.
  • Proven knowledge of community mental health resources and effective referral processes.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a telehealth setting or familiarity with teletherapy platforms.
  • Prior experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention strategies and trauma-informed care practices.
Compensation and Benefits

Vatica Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, you may qualify for a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000.
