Salary Range or Pay Grade

123,750 - 420,032

Description

The University of Rochester, Department of Emergency Medicine seeks committed physician faculty members to teach and practice at Strong Memorial Hospital, Strong West and other Regional Hospitals which are a part of the University of Rochester, a tertiary care teaching facility located in Rochester, NY. Salary is dependent on experience. Candidates must be Board certified (or Board eligible) in Emergency Medicine. Clinical responsibilities include patient care and teaching of house staff and medical students. Participate in monthly division meetings, administrative functions and institutional committees as requested. Your employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of a health screening exam, pre-placement TB test and your full cooperation in completing screening for the illegal use of drugs.

Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
