Job description

Job Summary:
The University of Florida is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate in AI Bioinformatics and Single Cell Multi-omics to join Dr. Feifei Xiao's laboratory in the Department of Biostatistics. The role focuses on developing machine learning methods for analyzing large-scale single-cell data and involves methodology development, data analysis, and research presentations.
Responsibilities:
• Develop machine learning and deep learning methods for analyzing large-scale single-cell DNA-seq, RNA-seq, ATAC-seq and spatial transcriptome data.
• Develop modern statistical approaches for integration of multi-omics datasets and causal inference.
• Conduct methodology and software development.
• Perform data analysis.
• Write manuscripts.
• Present research at conferences.
• Assist with grant applications.
Qualifications:
Required:
• PhD in Biostatistics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Statistics, Mathematics or related field.
Preferred:
• Proficient in R/Python.
• Prior experience in genetic or genomic data analysis.
