Unity Support Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our remote telehealth team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy, to facilitate effective treatment.
• Provide individual, family, couple, and group therapy sessions, addressing a wide spectrum of mental health issues.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines to ensure quality care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create cohesive treatment strategies and improve client outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, including workshops and training, to stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Unity Support Services, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Our clients often face challenges in accessing traditional mental health resources, and as such, you will play a crucial role in providing virtual support that meets them where they are.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
• Minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, preferably with a focus on diverse populations.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards relevant to mental health professionals.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and other related technologies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience and specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment.
• Prior work within remote or telehealth counseling settings is highly advantageous.
• Adeptness in utilizing various therapeutic methodologies tailored to the needs of different clients.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and client caseload. Our benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as malpractice insurance coverage. Additionally, we provide assistance with billing and documentation to alleviate administrative burdens, allowing you to focus entirely on client care.
