Position Overview

Tufts Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team remotely. This full-time role allows you to engage in meaningful therapeutic work from the comfort of your home while making a significant impact on the lives of individuals and families in Bellevue, Washington, and surrounding areas. As an LMFT, you will provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support clients through various mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand clients' mental health challenges and strengths, developing personalized treatment plans based on their specific needs.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-focused therapy.
• Regularly monitor client progress, adapting treatment plans and goals as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to deliver coordinated, holistic care.
• Offer crisis intervention and risk assessments, developing safety plans to ensure client well-being during emergencies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and proper care continuity.
• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups, enhancing clients' therapeutic experience through deeper engagement in community support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse clientele that includes individuals experiencing a range of mental health concerns, couples navigating relationship difficulties, and families seeking support for communal issues. Each client presents unique situations requiring personalized interventions that respect their backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory to practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate productive therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience

• Two or more years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting is preferred, demonstrating your ability to work with various clinical populations.
• A profound understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic approaches will be an asset in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
