Tufts Behavioral Health is proudly seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a full-time remote position based in Portland, Oregon. As part of an outpatient office setting specializing in family therapy, you will engage with clients through virtual sessions, applying evidence-based therapy techniques. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to fully understand each client's unique mental health challenges, strengths, and resources.
• Provide individualized and family-centered therapy sessions utilizing various evidence-based methodologies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy.
• Create customized treatment plans with clearly defined goals and therapeutic interventions tailored to each client’s needs.
• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure integrated and coordinated care.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops to reinforce therapeutic concepts and support peer interactions.
• Deliver crisis intervention and safety planning as necessary, always prioritizing client safety and well-being.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation aligned with ethical standards and state regulations.
• Engage in regular supervision and team meetings to share insights, discuss challenges, and collaborate on treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals, couples, and families from various socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Clients come to Tufts Behavioral Health seeking support for a myriad of issues, including but not limited to bipolar disorder, grief, relationship problems, and stress management. Your role will involve not only providing therapy but also empowering clients to navigate their journeys toward emotional resilience.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Oregon.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that foster strong therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient mental health setting, with at least two years preferred.
• Strong knowledge and experience in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including trauma-informed care.
• Previously demonstrated success in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance treatment outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

Tufts Behavioral Health offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide various benefits, including:
